In an effort to get more creative and, improve my ideas ‘muscle’, I am committing to publishing an idea every day for 30 days straight.

Here are the rules:

  1. Publish 9am every morning for 30 days. No Stopping.
  2. Ideas can be about anything. Business, career, purpose, society, politics, technology, environment…
  3. But must combine two previously unrelated ideas. 1 + 1 = 3.

Day 2. Still late, but better than yesterday… Incremental progress, that’s all we can ask for, right?

OLD IDEA 1: Fear

OLD IDEA 2: eBikes

NEW IDEA: Why are people afraid to ride bikes? And, how to encourage people to buy and ride an ebike for daily transport?

Five Whys:

  1. I feel ebikes are a perfect solution for 90% of daily mobility needs.
  2. You don’t have to be an athlete to ride an ebike. You can ride uphill and down dale, with out fear of over exertion.
  3. Cargo options exist, to be able to transport shopping, goods, or even children.
  4. So what’s stopping people adopting ebikes? What are the barriers? Price? Convenience? Fear of traffic?
  5. If it is fear, how do enable people to overcome that fear? What support do they need? Training? Infrastructure? Safety in numbers?

Question: Would you ever consider buying and using an eBike?
